Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 2026-04-06
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how parizene ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through the Bible Verse Reader mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information Collected Automatically:
- Device Information: OS version, device model, language settings, unique device identifiers (e.g., Firebase Installation ID).
- Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous data about your interactions with the App (e.g., features used, session length) to understand usage patterns and improve the App. Google Privacy Policy
- Crash Data: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports (device state, OS version, App version at crash) to diagnose and fix bugs. Firebase Crashlytics Terms / Google Privacy Policy
- Purchase Information: If you make purchases, RevenueCat manages subscriptions/purchases. They collect data like an anonymized user ID and purchase status. We do not access or store your payment card details. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Advertising Data: We may use AppLovin to display ads. AppLovin and its partners may collect/receive data like Advertising ID (IDFA/GAID), IP address, device info, and ad interaction data to serve relevant ads. AppLovin Privacy Policy
B. Information Stored Locally on Your Device:
- Bible text (3 translations: KJV, BSB, WEB) is stored entirely on your device for offline reading.
- Your highlights, bookmarks, reading preferences, and streak data are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
C. AI Explanations:
- When you request a verse explanation, the App fetches pre-generated content from our server. No personal data is sent with these requests — only an anonymized verse identifier.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the App's core features (Bible reading, daily verses, AI explanations).
- To improve and optimize the App (using analytics and crash data).
- To manage in-app purchases and subscriptions (via RevenueCat).
- To respond to your support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or regions with similar laws, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of Contract: To provide the App functionality you've requested
- Legitimate Interests: For improving the App, analytics, and ensuring network security, balanced against your privacy rights
- Consent: Where required by law for certain data processing
- Legal Obligation: To comply with applicable laws and regulations
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

- RevenueCat: Purchase/subscription management.
- AppLovin: Ad serving (they may share data with their partners per their policy). These providers access data only to perform tasks on our behalf or provide their service.
- Legal Authorities: If required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6. Data Security and Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

- Secure authentication protocols
- Regular security assessments
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.
Data Retention: We retain usage data for no more than 26 months. Crash data is retained for 90 days. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
7. International Data Transfers
The App's services may involve transferring data to countries outside your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required by law.
